The Moroccan singer and actor who left North America six years ago after posting bail for sexual assault charges will be arrested if he returns, a law enforcement source said.
Saad Lamjarred was hit with a Brooklyn Supreme Court lawsuit earlier this month, where a young woman accused him of beating and raping her after they went out on a date.
Lamjarred, 31, was in New York on a travel visa during the February 2010 incident.
The Moroccan soap opera star currently has an active warrant for his arrest and the criminal sexual assault indictment is still pending, sources said.
Lamjarred was an unknown bar singer when the alleged assault occurred and after posting bail he fled back to his native country.
If convicted, the "What's Wrong With My Baby?" singer faces up to 25 years in prison.
